The Sand Creek Scorpions earned a win when they defeated the Air Academy Kadets 59-44 on Saturday, Feb. 22.
Tiana Davis lead Sand Creek with 14 points scored while also collecting two rebounds. Krystina Hagood recorded a double-double, scoring 12 points and collecting 10 rebounds.
Air Academy was lead in scoring by Kylee Blacksten who scored 19 points, while also collecting 12 rebounds and two assists. Brianna Sealy had a productive night, recording nine points.
Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Sand Creek heading to play Centaurus and Air Academy taking on Palmer Ridge.
