A branch office for Denver Motor Vehicle closed Thursday after an employee there exhibited symptoms consistent with COVID-19.

The office at 2855 Tremont Place in Denver was closed at 2 p.m. and will be cleaned and sanitized as a precaution, according to a statement from the city.

Officials urged anyone who visited the location on March 11 or March 12 to pay close attention to whether they feel sick and to consider isolating themselves.

The employee who showed the symptoms is being tested for the novel coronavirus, according to the city. Tests typically take a few days to be completed.
