Colorado’s health insurance marketplace has reopened during the coronavirus pandemic so Coloradans who don’t have insurance or are about to lose it can purchase coverage.
Those who have lost income or had job changes may also be eligible to sign up for a new plan during this period.
Connect for Health Colorado started its special enrollment Friday and it will remain open through April 3. Coverage can start April 1.

Individuals who want to buy insurance through the state’s marketplace can fill out an application online at connectforhealthco.com, over the phone 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday at 855-752-6749, or by going through a certified enrollment expert listed on the website.
The regular enrollment period reopens Nov. 1, but the special enrollment will allow those who don’t have health insurance or are losing coverage due to job changes because of the outbreak to qualify, using the application date as their event date, and get coverage sooner.
