Gov. Jared Polis gives an update on coronavirus in Colorado beginning at 1:30 p.m. today.
Colorado is just days away from making the switch from stay-at-home to “safer at home.” The gradual reopening will be a balancing act for the state as we try to avoid a resurgence in new coronavirus cases.
This Sunday, April 26, the stay-at-home order will be lifted and some businesses will begin to reopen, elective surgeries will resume while restaurants, bars and schools will remain closed longer.
On Tuesday, the latest coronavirus case count stood at 508 confirmed deaths with 10,878 positive COVID-19 cases and 859 people currently hospitalized.
