On Tuesday, officials announced that a Colorado prison is now the site of the state’s largest confirmed COVID-19 outbreak. The number of positive cases at Sterling Correctional Facility spiked as more results from the 472 tests administered last week became available. Of those tested, half were positive, officials said.

Yesterday, President Donald Trump took executive action to order meat processing plants to stay open amid concerns over growing coronavirus cases and the impact on the nation’s food supply. The order uses the Defense Production Act to classify meat processing as critical infrastructure.

As of Tuesday, the latest coronavirus case count topped 14,000 and there are now 736 deaths reported.

Meanwhile, a free drive-by coronavirus test site was announced in Denver for Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
