ESPN on Tuesday unveiled its list of the to commemorate the league’s 74th year of existence. The Nuggets had a strong showing, landing three spots in the rankings, including one in the top 10.
The top three spots went to three iconic dynasties’ looks in the Lakers’ showtime gold (No. 1), Celtics’ classic green (No. 2) and Bulls’ road red (No. 3).
Here’s a look at how Denver fared:
No. 67: Nuggets’ blue dazzle (2003-08)

“This is one of those jerseys that just screams 2000s. The dazzle cloth version stands out above the set that just followed it,” ESPN’s Andrew Lopez writes.
No. 51: Nuggets’ navy cursive (2008-12)

“The yellow cursive. The dazzle fabric. The baby blue side panels pairing with the dark blue base. These were legit,” ESPN’s Dave McMenamin writes.
No. 5: Nuggets’ rainbow skyline (1985-93)

“In the 1980s, when the Denver Nuggets introduced new uniforms, they were statistically the fastest team in the NBA. High tempo defined Mile High Basketball, and the franchise even took on-court style to new heights with jerseys featuring a rainbow skyline theme,” ESPN’s Aaron Dodson writes.
