Man who died in crash near Roggen is identified

A 22-year-old man who died in a two-vehicle crash near Roggen has been identified.

Armando Geraldo-Quiahua died about 6 p.m. April 25 at the intersection of Weld County roads 73 and 16, according to the coroner’s office.

Geraldo-Quiahua was an unrestrained backseat passenger in a van that collided with a pickup. He died at the scene. Two other people in the van were taken to hospitals.

An investigation by the  State Patrol is ongoing. A final cause of death awaits autopsy and laboratory reports.
