An El Paso County sheriff’s deputy was involved in a shooting on the east side of Colorado Springs on Friday evening, according a from the department.
The incident occurred in the 1000 block of Chiricahua Loop, authorities said.
KKTV in Colorado Springs that a man was shot by the deputy after a domestic violence call.
The suspect’s injuries were not life threatening and no law enforcement officers were injured, the TV station said.
No other information on the incident was immediately available.
