As the Denver protests stretched into their second week, Thursday’s events were highlighted by young speakers who took the stage to share their feelings on the movement, and a caravan of protestors that stretched 2 1/2 miles long at one point.
Although more protests are expected Friday, Denver Mayor Michael Hancock allowed the 9 p.m. curfew to expire Friday morning. RTD service to downtown Denver fully resumed as well.
Looking ahead to Saturday, the Denver Broncos players and coaches planned to gather at 12:30 at the State Capitol.
