LOS ANGELES — Pinch hitter Raimel Tapia knocked in a two-run home run in the top of the ninth to lift the Rockies to a 7-5 victory Sunday over the Dodgers at Dodger Stadium.
Nolan Arenado had a couple of homers and Elias Diaz added another for Colorado. Rockies starting pitcher Chi Chi Gonazlez allowed four runs on eight hits in 5 2/3 innings.
Colorado (44-21) increased its lead in the National League West over the Dodgers (37-28) to seven games. The Rockies begin a three-game series Tuesday against Arizona (28-37). German Marquez (7-4) takes the mound against Madison Bumgarner (4-5).
