DenverSportsOmelettelogoWestminster’s Jennifer Kupcho fired a 4-under par 68 to win the CoBank Colorado Women’s Open at the Green Valley Ranch Golf Club on June 5. Kupcho beat No. 15  Carlota Ciganda of Pamplona, Spain, by three strokes to record her first professional victory.

Kupcho, twice runner-up and paired with Ciganda in the final round, never relinquished the lead after Ciganda closed the gap within one after the par-4 11th.

Kupcho won  an NCAA title and the 2019 Augusta National Women’s Amateur just over one year ago. Her 16-under par Friday broke the all-time Colorado Women’s Open scoring record by five strokes set in 2016 by  Lauren Coughlin.
