Sophomore-to-be Baye Fall has been turning heads around the halls of Lutheran High School for awhile.
Now the 6-foot-11 Senegal native is getting attention nationally, with Fall ranked among the top 10 Class of 2023 recruits in the nation by ESPN on Tuesday morning. Fall came in at No. 6 in the initial rankings, with LeBron James’ son Bronny also on the list at No. 24.

The five-star recruit averaged 19.0 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.8 blocks per game as a freshman at Lutheran — a season that ended with the Lions falling to top-seeded Resurrection Christian 69-40 in the Class 3A Great 8.
, Fall already has scholarship offers from Georgetown, Kansas, Minnesota and Georgia. But if the NBA drops its rule requiring all draftees be one year removed from high school, as is expected, there’s a chance Baye goes straight to the pros.
“One college scout said the consensus is, ‘Baye may not see a college court,’ ” Lutheran head coach Bill Brandsma told The Post in February. “He came here skilled, and scouts are seeing his ultimate potential… He’s 6-foot-11 but jumps like he’s 6-2 and moves like he’s 6-6.”
Fall is currently the only Colorado high school boys basketball player listed on any of ESPN’s rankings for the 2021-23 classes. To see the complete rankings, .
