Outfielder Charlie Blackmon hit a two-run shot in the seventh inning to help give the Rockies a 5-4 win over the Diamondbacks in their series opener at Coors Field.
Blackmon finished the game batting 2 for 5 with a double and two RBIs.
Colorado starting pitcher German Marquez gave up four runs on seven hits in six innings of work and the bullpen combined for three shutout innings. Reliever Jairo Diaz earned his sixth win of the year.
Colorado improves to 45-21 and hold an eight-game lead in the National League West over the Dodgers (37-29). Arizona falls to 28-38. Jon Gray (10-1) takes the mound against Zac Gallen on Wednesday.
