Getting your player ready...

You won’t find a new home area with more to see now than what awaits you five minutes south of Lone Tree, at The Canyons at Castle Pines.  Just east of I-25 at the Castle Pines Parkway exit, you’ll tour a master-planned community that has a dramatic natural setting, with lots of parkland and trails allocated; plus some out-of-the-ordinary new home architecture — the most eye-catching interiors that builders are showing anywhere in Denver now.

Buyers are reacting to that by moving quickly on new homes, at a moment when they’re looking differently at space, indoors and out, after having been locked up through the Coronavirus crisis.

“I think that experience either made you love where you were, or it left you wanting something really different,” says Tracey Schmidt with Solis by TRI Pointe Homes, who has witnessed 14 home sales here since the start of the virus emergency last March. You’ll get an idea why when you tour TRI Pointe’s stunning models; not far from where you’ll find alluring single-family designs from Berkeley Homes, KB Home and Shea Homes; all-ranch enclaves by KB Home and Shea; and a new series of luxury homes by Infinity Home Collection.

These models all show wide-open entertaining areas that open to large outdoor living areas that are particularly appealing after a year like this.  To find your way around, first stop at The Canyons information center, just beyond the iconic covered bridge, for a directory; then be sure to ask for a free ‘coffee coin’ at any models you tour. It can be redeemed at the community’s new Exchange Coffee House beside the information center, offering handcrafted beverages and a variety of pastries, sandwiches, and salads.

You’ll also find new homes ready to deliver now, such as a 3-bedroom/2.5-bath new-urban-styled design by Berkeley, almost 1,900 sq. ft. plus an unfinished basement, at $584,337; and a super-sized 4-bedroom, almost 2,500 feet, by KB Home at $567,000.  And by all means tour three spectacular show homes by Infinity Home Collection, in a setting above the new Rueter Hess Reservoir; and nearby, all-ranch models by KB Home and Shea, and two other single-family series by Shea.

When you return for coffee at The Exchange, you can take in exhibits that showcase all of the amenities coming to The Canyons, including Canyon Village, with an event lawn and a community pool set to open next year; and with clubhouses oriented for families and for adults.  You’ll hear about a matchless complement of additional parks and 15 miles of planned trails. (A third of the 1,270-acre area is set aside for parks, trails, and open space.)
