If they decide to do foot-only closest-to-the-pin contest at the Colorado Open this week, consider Brandon McManus a heavy favorite.

The Broncos kicker showed off his foot wedge skills during a practice round Wednesday at Green Valley Ranch Golf Club. The results were predictably impressive:

McManus is one of 156 golfers, including 25 amateurs, expected to compete at the tournament this Thursday through Sunday in Denver. Also in the field is CO Women’s Open champion Jennifer Kupcho, a former NCAA champion, and 2005 Master’s runner-up Chris DiMarco.

There will be no spectators at the event, due to the coronavirus, but the pros will be competing for a $100,000 first prize. Fans can follow along by visiting .
