Hello friends, major championship golf is finally back.
Fans around the country woke up Thursday morning and were excited to watch the best players in the world tee it up in Round 1 at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco. Many fans, including myself, were in for a surprise when they went looking for it on TV and came up empty.
ESPN made the decision to move early round coverage to its streaming service ESPN+. Fans were in for a surprise as the service comes at an additional cost to stream. For those who decide to wait for afternoon coverage to start you can . Live TV coverage starts at 2 p.m. on ESPN.
