Aurora police are investigating after two people were killed in a shooting late Thursday.
Officers were dispatched just before 11 p.m. to the 10600 block of East Jewell Avenue on reports of a shooting, police said in a news release.
Police found a man and a woman who had been shot. They were transported to a local hospital in serious condition and , police said.
Police said they found a weapon at the scene.
“We do not believe that there are any outstanding suspects,” police said in a news release.
The identities of the man and woman who died will be released by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office, police said.
