Summer has made a strong comeback and Denver’s expected high Tuesday of 90 degrees, 11 degrees over normal, will continue the trend.

If the mercury climbs to 90, Denver would notch 74 days of 90-degree-or-hotter this year, breaking the record of 73 days.

Just a week ago, people from Colorado Springs to the Denver metro area, in the mountains and along the northern Front Range, woke up to snow and cold weather.

This week, the weather is forecast to be sunny, dry and warmer than normal, the highs staying in the mid to high 80s at least through Friday, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
