Denver weather: Sunny, dry and warm temperatures expected across metro area

There is also a Red Flag Warning in effect from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

It’s going to be sunny and warm in the Denver metro area on Monday.

The temperature is expected to reach a high of 81 with winds of 9-13 mph in the afternoon, which may gust up to 21 mph, according to the National Weather Service. There is also a Red Flag Warning — which means there is an increased risk of fire danger with warm temperatures, low humidity and strong winds — in effect from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

In the evening, temperatures will drop to 48 degrees.

Highs are expected to maintain in the low 80s through Friday with lows dropping to the low 50s.
