It was like a throwback to the Peyton Manning era.
Broncos quarterback Drew Lock connected with Troy Fumagalli for a screen pass against the Panthers in which the tight end rumbled down the field for a 29-yard gain.
The play set up the Broncos for a 2-yard touchdown pass to Tim Patrick.
A failed two-point conversion attempt gave the Broncos a 25-10 lead.
