Gary HardingA 73-year-old Clifton man has been arrested on charges of sexual assault on a child that authorities say stem from incidents involving two separate children.
Gary Harding was arrested Friday and is being held in the Mesa County jail, the sheriff’s office said in a statement. Authorities said Harding faces nine counts of sexual assault on a child, pattern of abuse; and three counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in the position of trust.
The charges stem from alleged incidents that occurred between Aug. 1, 2009, and Nov. 13, 2020, the sheriff’s office said.
The investigation is still active.
