One person died Friday afternoon in a garage fire in Northglenn.
The fire broke out in the 11100 block of Pinyon Drive, according to the North Metro Fire Rescue District.

When firefighters arrived on the scene Friday afternoon the fire was “well involved,” fire officials said. The fire has been put out and investigators are on the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. The identity of the victim was not released.
