A fire underneath 6th Avenue caused major morning closures downtown on Tuesday.
The road was closed between Interstate 25 and Kalamath Street. The incident also caused closures of the off-ramps to 6th Avenue.
The junction reopened just before 7 a.m.
The fire was on Osage near the train tracks that run under I-25 and U.S. Highway 6. The fire is believed to have been set by transients.
The closure began just before 4 a.m.
