Tim Tebow’s baseball dreams could still take him to the World Baseball Classic.

The 33-year-old Mets outfield prospect — and former Denver Broncos quarterback — is in this year’s WBC qualifiers, Philippine Amateur Baseball Association secretary general Pepe Munoz told ESPN.

Tebow was slated to be part of roster last year when the qualifiers were originally scheduled for March 2020. However, the games were postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Munoz lists him as a potential player due to Tebow’s plan to return to the Mets this season and the WBC schedule still up in the air.

Tebow was born in The Philippines while his parents served as Baptist missionaries and live there for three years before moving to Florida.
