Since 1981, KEZW 1430 AM on the Denver radio dial has been an adult standards station. But on Monday, Entercom announced a rebrand.

Out with the oldies and  and in with “The Bet.”

The new station, “The Bet,” will be a part of the BeQL Audio Network and a CBS Radio affiliate. 1430 AM will feature national sports talk and sports gambling programming. The station is hoping to capitalize on the legalization of sports betting in Colorado.

“With Colorado a legal sports betting state, we have a unique opportunity to play a role in this rapidly growing arena with the launch of ‘The Bet’ 1430 AM,” Chuck Sullivan, senior vice president and market manager for Entercom Denver, said in a press release. “RADIO.COM Sports favorites like ‘BetQL Daily’ and ‘You Better You Bet’ are extremely successful podcasts, and now is the time to bring those brands to life along with the strength of our established CBS Sports Radio Network and talent to our broadcast audience in Denver.”
