A juvenile was shot early Saturday in northeast Denver, according to police.
Officers are in the area of 36th and Columbine on a report of a shooting. One juvenile male victim has been transported to a local hospital with what appears to be non life threatening injuries. NB Columbine from 36th is blocked off. Alternative routes advised.

The shooting happened near East 36th Avenue and Columbine Street, police said.
The victim, a male, was taken to a hospital to be treated for wounds. He is expected to recover from the shooting, police said. An investigation is ongoing. Police did not immediately release information on a suspect or whether anyone was arrested.
