An 18th Street gang member was arrested in Aurora on April 9 by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcementap Enforcement and Removal Operations.

Luis Guzman-Rincon, 29, was on ICE’s most wanted list for immigration violations.

Guzman-Rincon was also involved in an argument with a rival gang member resulting in gunshots that paralyzed a 16-year-old girl. He was later convicted on Oct. 18, 2017, for attempted manslaughter.

“We are committed to identifying and removing gang members and public safety threats from our community,” said John Fabbricatore, ERO Denver field office director, in a news release. “Guzman paralyzed a minor child while initiating gang violence. His reckless disregard for children placed him on the ICE Top Ten most wanted list and we made him a priority for arrest.”
