An overturned kayak was found in the middle of Carter Lake Sunday.
Around 2 p.m. authorities found a boat in the water with a dog in the lake wearing a floatation device. The dog was uninjured.
Teams are searching for a 31-year-old Loveland man they believe is the kayaker.
Carter Lake was closed Monday and until further notice as the search continues for the kayaker.
