The Denver Nuggets suffered yet another injury setback in San Francisco on Friday night.

Denver guard Will Barton left the game in the first quarter against the Golden State Warriors after suffering an apparent injury to his right leg.

The Nuggets later indicated it was a right hamstring strain, and that Barton would be out for the rest of the game.

In an in-game interview with ESPN, Michael Malone relayed that Barton “said he heard something pop with the hamstring.”

Two weeks ago, Jamal Murray suffered a season-ending ACL tear at the end of a loss to the Warriors in San Francisco. Barton had seen his role grow in the wake of that injury.
