The Rockies had a rough start — a really, really rough start — Tuesday when they gave up 10 runs in the first inning in the first of a doubleheader against the Giants. But Charlie Blackmon made sure the fans went home smiling.

The 34-year-old outfielder blasted a three-run homer with two out in the bottom of the seventh inning of Game 2 to lift the Rockies to an 8-6 win over San Francisco.

It was the fourth walk-off home run of his career and first since a hitting a grand slam to beat the Dodgers on Sept. 11, 2020.

The two teams face off at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday in a rubber match. Jon Gray (3-2, 3.15 ERA) takes the mound for Colorado against Logan Webb (1-2, 4.13 ERA).
