A man died Sunday night after suffering a gunshot wound earlier that morning, according to the Denver Police Department.
At 4:44 a.m., police investigated a shooting that took place in the 12000 block of East 40th Avenue, just south of Interstate 70, according a tweet from the department. The man who was shot was later pronounced dead, according to a tweet at 10:28 p.m.
No arrests have been made, police say.
Update #2: The victim in this shooting has been pronounced deceased.
