Portions of I-70 closed in Eagle County for trailer removal

The interstate will be shuttered for up to two hours to clean up an earlier incident

Westbound Interstate 70 will be closed in Eagle County between Edwards and Wolcott on Tuesday morning.

Colorado State Patrol that the closure, beginning at 10 a.m., could take up to two hours.

Crews are working to recover a burnt-out trailer from the shoulder.

The Edwards and Wolcott exits are milepost 163 to 157, where U.S. Highway 6 will be used as a detour.
