More than 2,500 electricity customers are without power in the Fort Collins area Wednesday evening.

Seven power outages have impacted 2,692 customers, according to the Xcel energy power outage map at about 7 p.m.
The temperature in Fort Collins at 7 p.m. was 96 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
