After driving some of the fastest custom home sales ever seen in Colorado, Fox Hill near Parker is releasing nine of its best-ever home sites this weekend—ones sized as large as 3.5 acres, bordering Black Forest pines, on quiet cul-de-sacs, all with westerly views of the Front Range.
Already, Fox Hill’s farm-to-table lifestyle, paired to a scenic setting just 35 minutes from the Denver Tech Center, has fueled around $40 million in sales since the first of the year—likely to climb even higher this week as those lots are released, some of which have had buyers circling them for a long time.
“We have people who have waited years for these,” says Fox Hill’s Paige McLaughlin, who will give you a look at those sites today.
“They have all of the features buyers are always asking for—the mountain views, the privacy, and the terrain for a walkout lower level,” she adds. “They’re set up close to mature ponderosa pines, and they’re within walking distance of our farm amenities.”
Along with the pretty setting, you’ll see the resurrected farm thatap the core amenity of Fox Hill—a focus on wellness and healthy eating thatap become exceptionally popular with buyers in the wake of the pandemic.
Already, Fox Hill’s first 20 families to move in are getting fresh produce weekly, grown on-site using high-tech farming techniques applied to a historic Douglas County farm.
The 1912 farmhouse is still there, now Fox Hill’s information center. McLaughlin says rapid sales have been driven by out-of-state buyers, including new arrivals from Texas and California; but equally by purchasers from core Denver areas, wanting out of the higher density, but anxious to stay close to sports, cultural, and dining attractions in the city.
Those new sites are from the upper $400s, expected to yield finished homes in the high $1 millions—exactly the price range of four new custom pre-sold homes you can tour during your visit.
Meanwhile, you can find two homes you can move into this summer—one at $1.445 million; a second at $2.995M that was chosen by House Beautiful as its concept house. “Itap a $4 million value for $3 million,” says McLaughlin.
Builders at Fox Hill include Camerata Homes, Craftsman Home Company, GMC Construction, Reed Custom Homes, Nicholas Custom Homes, Sheffield Homes, and Blue Sky Custom Homes. Fox Hill is off Flintwood Road south of Bayou Gulch Road.
