Beckie will be making her second straight appearance for the Canadian national team, after helping the squad win the bronze medal in the 2016 Rio Games. Born and raised in Colorado, she was a standout at Valor Christian High School and was named the 2012 Gatorade Colorado player of the year. She starred at Texas Tech where she graduated as the all-time leading scorer with 57 goals and was a two-time Big 12 player of the year. She currently plays for Manchester City. — JN
