The Littleton native participated in a bevy of activities growing up, from soccer and swimming to hunting and horseback riding, which no doubt prepared her for the world of modern pentathlon. At the 2019 Pan American Games, Schultz earned the gold medal in the women’s pentathlon relay with fellow American Jessica Davis and the silver in the individual competition, which claimed her the spot on the Olympic team.
