Rappaport was the first athlete out of five to qualify for 2020 U.S. Olympic Triathlon team and is one of three women on the roster. She swam and ran cross-country at Villanova University. She began competing as a triathlete in March 2014 after training in the Triathlon Collegiate Recruitment Program. With running her favorite discipline, Rappaport is a five-time ITU World Triathlon World Series medalist, a 13-time ITU Triathlon Cup medalist and earned silver at the World Triathlon Championship Series in Yokohama, Japan, on May 15. She’s currently second in the women’s world rankings at 4,958.35 total points.
