A teenager was shot Wednesday in Aurora during an attempted robbery, police said.
The shooting happened at about 6 p.m. in the 300 block of South Racine Street. A 15-year-old was walking when he was approached by a group of males who attempted to rob him, police said.
The victim who was shot went to a local hospital, and he’s expected to survive. The shooting suspects fled and remained at-large as of about 8:30 p.m.
