The Powerball estimated jackpot is $620 million, putting the winnings in the top 10 richest all-time lottery jackpots.
The estimated cash value of the jackpot is $446 million, according to the Colorado Lottery. The next drawing is on Saturday. The odds of winning the jackpot prize are 1 in 292 million.
The $620 million Powerball jackpot bumps for the largest United States jackpots, including Mega Millions winners, according to the Associated Press.
The previous No. 9 was a May 18, 2013, Powerball winner for $590.5 million, with one Florida-purchased ticket. The highest ever was $1.586 billion Powerball jackpot on Jan. 13, 2016, with three winning tickets from California, Florida and Tennessee.
