Von Miller’s back.
The Broncos’ star linebacker hardly looks like a man returning from a season-ending tendon injury. He’s been playing like the Von of old, winning the AFC Defensive Player of the Month award after totaling four sacks and six tackles for a loss through the first three weeks of the season. But his performance hasn’t put him among the favorites to win some end-of-the-season awards, according to several sportsbooks. At least not yet.
Miller, 32, has +2,000 odds — meaning a $100 bet would win $2,000 — to win the comeback player of the year award, . He’s a distant seventh, well behind the favorite, Dak Prescott, who’s has -110 odds. Following the Dallas quarterback is Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow (+500) and Panthers quarterback Sam Darnold (+800).
Miller has +3,000 odds to take home the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award, ranking eighth on the list. Browns defensive end Myles Garrett (+350) is the favorite.
