A Weld RE5J school bus and SUV crashed in Johnstown Thursday morning, and the driver of the SUV was transported to a hospital.
The two vehicles collided just east of County Road 19 on Highway 60 around 7:07 a.m., according to Fire Chief Michael West with Front Range Fire Rescue.
Highway 60 closed in the area.
At the time, 18 Milliken Middle School students were on the bus. None of them were injured.
