The eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 are reopened at Silverthorne after a traffic crash just east of the Eisenhower Tunnel.

The Tuesday afternoon closure was at exit 205, Colorado 9, in Silverthorne. U.S. 6 over Loveland Pass was an alternate route. The crash, east of the tunnel, shut down the eastbound lanes for about an hour as a safety precaution, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
