Class 5A

1. Valor Christian (10-0) won vs. No. 9 ThunderRidge, 52-21. Colton Allen threw two touchdown passes, Gavin Sawchuk (3) and Gabe Sawchuk (2) combined for five TDs, and the Eagles scored 45 points between the second and third quarters to claim their seventh straight league championship. 2. Cherry Creek (8-2) won at Smoky Hill, 35-10. The Bruins locked up a share of the 5A Centennial League crown for the sixth year in a row with a commanding win over Smoky Hill. Next week: TBD

3. Legend (9-1) won vs. Chaparral, 45-14. The Titans put the finishing touches on a second consecutive 5A/4A South League title with their eighth straight win to close out the regular season. Next week: TBD

4. Arapahoe (8-2) lost at No. 6 Grandview, 32-13. The Warriors had to settle for a three-way split of the 5A Centennial League title after falling behind 18-0 to Grandview and never recovering. Pyreese Miller and DJ Montoya both scored TDs. Next week: TBD

5. Ralston Valley (8-2) lost vs. Arvada West, 17-10. Ethan Cook threw the go-ahead touchdown pass in the second quarter, but was taken off the field on a stretcher after suffering an apparent leg injury early in the fourth quarter. The Wildcats still managed to hang on for the win, breaking an 11-game losing streak to their cross-town rivals that dated back to 2010. Next week: TBD

6. Grandview (8-2) won vs. No. 4 Arapahoe, 32-13. Quarterback Liam Szarka opened the game with an 81-yard TD run, Moosah Alsaffar went off for 134 yards on 24 carries, and the Wolves claimed a share of the 5A Centennial League crown in coach Tom Doherty’s first year at the helm. Next week: TBD

7. Regis Jesuit (7-3) won at Douglas County, 34-24. The Raiders scored two defensive touchdowns during a 20-point third quarter to turn a 17-7 halftime deficit into a 27-17 edge, and Zavier Carroll put the game away late with a 32-yard TD run. Next week: TBD

8. Pomona (6-4) lost vs. No. 10 Columbine, 20-6. The Panthers’ bid for an unbeaten run through the 5A Jeffco League was dashed after Columbine built a 10-6 halftime lead and held them scoreless over the final two quarters. Next week: TBD

9. ThunderRidge (8-2) lost at No. 1 Valor Christian, 52-21. Seth Frasier gave the Grizzlies a 7-0 lead with a 1-yard run in the first quarter and found Chase Tompkins for TD reception to tie things at 14 midway through the second. But the Grizzlies didn’t score again until late in the fourth as Valor ripped off 38 straight points to deny the upset bid. Next week: TBD

10. Columbine (7-3) won at No. 8 Pomona, 20-6. Sophomore running back Josh Snyder ran for 138 yards and a touchdown, and Wesley Jones kicked a pair of field goals to snap Pomona’s four-game win streak. Next week: TBD

Class 4A

1. Montrose (10-0) won vs. Ponderosa, 19-14. Blake Griffin scored two touchdowns in the second half to bust open a game that was tied 7-all at halftime and complete an unbeaten regular season for the Indians. Next week: TBD

2. Dakota Ridge (10-0) won vs. No. 7 Chatfield, 29-28. Landon Giebler drilled a 26-yard field goal with less than a minute left as the Eagles rallied from down 28-19 to start the fourth quarter for their 16th straight regular-season win. QB Adam Graves threw two touchdown passes and ran for two more, with the last bringing Dakota Ridge within two points with 10:33 to go and setting up Giebler’s heroics. Next week: TBD

3. Erie (10-0) won vs. Windsor, 41-0. Caleb Theisen found the end zone four times and Blake Barnett twice as the Tigers claimed their 10th straight double-digit victory after scoring 40-plus points for the eighth time this season. Next week: TBD

4. Loveland (9-1) won vs. Grand Junction Central, 56-14. The Indians completed the regular season with their 18th straight win over 4A competition and claimed their fourth league title in five seasons. Next week: TBD

5. Palmer Ridge (9-1) won at No. 9 Vista Ridge, 41-0. QB Derek Hester and WR Anthony Costanzo hooked up for a pair of touchdowns during a 20-0 first half, and Costanzo tacked on a third TD reception on a halfback pass from KC Fackerell in the second half as the Bears dominated from start to finish. 6. Pine Creek (8-2) won vs. Doherty, 56-13. Josiah Roy tossed four touchdown passes, while Zion Hill and Justis Nicholson both found the end zone twice in a dominating 42-7 first half that decided the game. Next week: TBD

7. Chatfield (7-3) lost at No. 2 Dakota Ridge, 29-28. Mason Lowe and Jake Marschall both ran in a pair of TDs, but the Chargers were held scoreless in the fourth quarter as Dakota Ridge rallied from a nine-point deficit to dash Chatfield’s league title hopes. Next week: TBD

8. Fountain-Fort Carson (9-1) won vs. Coronado, 42-21. Tavian Tuli racked up four touchdown passes and the Trojans claimed their seventh straight win to finish off an unbeaten run through the 4A Southern 2 League. Next week: TBD

9. Vista Ridge (6-3) lost vs. No. 5 Palmer Ridge, 41-0. The Wolves offense was shut out for the first time all season in their second loss in three games. Next week: TBD

10. Golden (8-2) won at Bear Creek, 41-27. The Demons rebounded from back-to-back losses by eclipsing 40 points for the fourth time this season. QB Jazel Riley IV had a hand in all six touchdowns (four passing, two rushing) and found Josh Torrey for three TD receptions. Next week: TBD
