Trains at Denver International Airport were stopped briefly Monday afternoon after an individual bypassed security and descended the escalators in the arrivals area, airport officials said in a statement.

The individual, who was not identified, boarded a train around 12:30 p.m. after bypassing security before being apprehended by Denver police, the statement said.
