Restaurants, bars, shops host fundraisers for Marshall fire relief efforts

The Marshall fire in Boulder County is the most destructive wildfire in Colorado’s history, according to state officials, having burned more than 6,000 acres and damaged or destroyed upwards of 1,000 buildings.

It will take time to rebuild after the devastation, but there are ways to help in the interim such as donating money to the , the or one of the benefiting victims.

The businesses listed below also have committed to donating a portion of proceeds to wildfire relief efforts. So if you’re looking to shop, eat or drink to help victims of the fires, stop by one of these places.

Where to find Marshall fire fundraisers

Dozens of restaurants in Boulder, Denver and the surrounding areas are offering free meals to those displaced by the Marshall fire under an initiative called Restaurants Revive. Visit for a list of participating eateries.

Until Jan. 14, the are collecting gift cards to restaurants, grocery stores, home goods store, pet stores and more that will be donated to families affected by the Marshall fire. Drop off donations from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Arvada Chamber of Commerce (7305 Grandview Ave., Arvada), Arvada United Methodist Church (6750 Carr St., Arvada) and Edgewater Civic Center (1800 N. Harlan, Edgewater).

in Denver is collecting donations, including water, blankets, toiletries and other items.

At Denver-based , 100% of proceeds from every Fernet About It cocktail ordered in January will go benefit the Boulder County Wildfire Fund. The drink is available at both locations in River North Arts District and Lower Highlands.

The organization Colorado Law Enforcement Officer Wives is selling , with 100% of the proceeds to benefit the Boulder County Wildfire Fund and the Colorado Fraternal Order of Police.

in Louisville is serving free takeout meals (soup and bread) to anyone displaced by the fires Jan. 5-9. Distribution starts at noon; the restaurant will serve 250 meals per day.

Jan. 7 is dubbed , when more than 80 businesses in the namesake city pledge to donate a portion of proceeds to the Boulder County Wildfire Fund. Participating locations include Generous Coffee, Windy Saddle Cafe, Golden City Brewery, Buffalo Rose Restaurant, Golden Moon Speakeasy and more. See the full list at .

Anyone affected by the fires and in need of baby or child care products can email (connect@goodbuygear.com) until Jan. 7 to receive a free personalized package of products or digital gift cards to shop on their own.

From now until Jan. 7, restaurant is donating 10% of sales at its locations in Thornton and Denver to the Boulder Wildfire Fund.

At , $1 from every pint of Sandra Day IPA thatap ordered in January will be donated to the Boulder County Wildfire Fund.

Highlands Ranch-based sign maker is donating 50% of sales between Jan. 1 and 7 to the Boulder County Wildfire Fund.

Moxie Bread Co. is offering anyone affected by the Marshall fire a free meal off its menu at its three locations in Boulder, Louisville and Lyons.

On Jan. 11, will donate 50% of proceeds from 4 p.m. to closing to the Boulder County Wildfire Fund. Stop by any one of the restaurant’s 58 Colorado locations to contribute.

food and entertainment complex in Denver is hosting a benefit event on Jan. 12 from 6 to 10 p.m. with live music, art, food and drinks. Tickets cost $15 at and proceeds will be donated to donated to the Boulder County Wildfire Fund.

Longmont’s Outworld Brewing Co. is hosting a “Who’s Line is it Anyway?” style comedy show on Jan. 22 in partnership with entertainment group Some Assembly Required. Tickets cost $15 at and proceeds will be donated to directly victims of the Marshall fire.

in Boulder is hosting a free market Jan. 6-8 from noon to 9 p.m. each day, when those affected by the fire can shop through donations it’s received, including clothing, toiletries, toys and more. Additionally, they’ll receive vouchers for free drinks and food.

From Jan. 5 to 11, restaurant in Boulder will donate 10% of sales to the Boulder County Wildfire Fund.

On Jan. 7, brunch hotspot will donate 10% of proceeds from sales nationwide to the Boulder County Wildfire Fund.

ٱԱ’s . is donating 100% of proceeds from bar and restaurant sales between Jan. 3 and 10 to relief efforts. Additionally, the brewery and restaurant is offering a free meal and beer to first responders who present their IDs.

restaurant in Denver is hosting a pop-up fundraiser on Jan. 4 from 4 to 9 p.m., when chefs will be cooking up a specialty takeout menu with proceeds to benefit those impacted by the fire. Takeout items include bao buns, fresh rolls, cocktails to-go and more.

The nonprofit is hosting its first Mobile Food Market of the year on Jan. 4 from 1 to 2:30 p.m at 2545 E. 40th Ave in Denver. The organization will distribute free food, and anyone is welcome to attend.
