BEIJING OLYMPICS: Here are the Colorado athletes competing in the Winter Games
The Ralston Valley High School graduate punched her ticket to her first Olympic Games after winning the U.S. Figure Skating Championships. She became the oldest woman in 95 years to win the U.S. title. “You can tap into experience and really use it to your advantage in a lot of situations, and I definitely have that,” she told The Associated Press after her win. She reached the podium at the national championships three other times and her best finish at the world championships was ninth in 2019.
