A collegiate basketball player at Louisiana State University-Shreveport, Hoffman had a goal of making the Olympics and moved to Colorado Springs to pursue her dream. She was part of the second season of NBC’s “Scouting Camp: The Next Olympic Hopeful” in 2018. She didn’t win, but the bobsled coaches saw potential in her. She won the rookie push championships that year and a month later, . She’s won six world cup medals.
