Worker at cement plant in Aurora dies in workplace accident

A worker at a cement plant in Aurora died Wednesday afternoon in a workplace accident, police said.

At about 1:20 p.m. Aurora Fire Rescue and Aurora police responded to 27650 E. 26th Ave., a Martin Marietta plant, on an accidental death, police said.

A worker, a man, was inspecting the rotating arms on an upright mixer when he was pulled into the mixer, police said. He will be identified by the Adams County Corner’s Office after family has been notified.
