An accident involving at least 15 vehicles on Sunday night closed a portion of northbound Interstate 225 for more than an hour, according to Aurora police.
Northbound I-225 is closed at Iliff Avenue due to the crash just south of Mississippi Avenue. Five people have been taken to the hospital with minor injuries, Aurora police say.
The highway was reopened at 10:30 p.m.
UPDATE: Approximately 15 vehicles involved. 5 people have been transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. Expect delays and exit at E Iliff Ave, if traveling NB I-225. Updates here.
