
The Colorado Department of Transportation is anticipating a weather-filled Monday, making travel tougher than usual.
Snow, rain and wind are all elements that could cause issues into Tuesday evening. CDOT’s message to travelers is simple: be prepared.
9 a.m. Interstate 70 eastbound is down three lanes due to a roll-over crash between Kipling Street and Wadsworth Boulevard. Wheat Ridge police said one car was stalled and another car rear-ended the first vehicle resulting in serious injury to the driver of the second vehicle. That driver is being transported to a local hospital.

Highest impacts from this storm will be along the I-70 Corridor from the Limon area eastward. Strong winds gusting to 40-50 mph combined with 3-5" snow will produce slick travel, blowing snow, poor visibility, and hazardous travel.
